Your three real options

An honest comparison, using typical Ireland & UK prices as of mid-2026. Specific tools and agencies vary.

Comparison of DIY subscription software, automation agencies, and this service
Criteria DIY subscription app Automation agency Me
Upfront cost €0 — you build it yourself €3,500–15,000 setup €450–550, once
Monthly after that €40–350, forever €300–1,000+ retainer €0 — optional €60 care plan
Who builds it You, in the evenings Their team, over weeks I do — live in about 7 days
When it breaks Support ticket queue Account manager, office hours Me. You have my number
Contract Often 12-month terms 3–12 month minimums One page, no lock-in
Typical first-year cost ≈€500–4,000 ≈€7,000–25,000 €450–550 (≈€1,200 with care plan)

Built for businesses of 1–10 people. If you're bigger than that, an agency genuinely is the better fit — and I'll tell you so on the call.

What's the leak costing you?

Rough numbers on purpose. Put in your own.

What it looks like in real life

The electrician

He was returning calls until 11pm and still losing jobs. Now every missed call gets an instant text with a short intake form. Each morning he answers the lot in 20 minutes — about 7 hours a week back. His evenings belong to his family again. Build: €450.

The hairdresser

She reminded every client by hand and still got no-shows. Automatic reminders at 24 and 2 hours, plus a reschedule link, cut them in half. These days she picks her son up from school herself. Build: €450.

The estate agent

He merged leads from three apps by hand, usually around midnight. Now everything lands in one sheet, tagged hot or cold on arrival. Six hours a week back, and nothing slips. Build: €550.

How it works

  1. We talk

A free 15-minute call. Or a €150 deep audit — credited toward your build if you go ahead.

  2. I build and test

About 7 days, on your real numbers, without getting in the way of your work.

  3. You approve, it goes live

Then the optional €60/mo plan keeps it monitored and maintained — only if you want it.

The government may cover part of this.

If you're a small Irish business, your Local Enterprise Office runs the Trading Online Voucher — typically up to €2,500 in matched funding for businesses with fewer than 10 staff, under €2m turnover and at least six months trading. Whether you qualify depends on your business — I can't promise anything, but it's worth ten minutes to check. UK clients: your local Growth Hub lists similar digital support schemes.

I'll point you to the right scheme on our call.

{{NAME}}, automation consultant, Dublin

Who's building this

16 years in hospitality before automation. I've run the kitchens and the tills — now I automate the boring parts I hated myself. Based in Dublin, and because the builds are remote-friendly I work with businesses across Ireland and the UK. I speak English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Questions I get

What if it breaks?

You have 30 days of included support after go-live — I fix it, free. On the €60/mo plan I monitor the system and usually fix things before you notice. No plan? Message me and I'll quote the fix.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You get a one-page doc in plain language, and at handover I show you the two things you'll actually touch. If you can send a WhatsApp message, you're qualified.

What about GDPR?

Your data flows are documented on one page: what's collected, where it goes, how long it's kept. I use EU-hosted tools where possible, and nothing is stored that isn't needed for the job.

Is there a contract?

One page. Fixed scope, fixed price, 50% deposit and 50% on go-live. No lock-in, no small print.

What tools do you use?

Mostly n8n and Make, with AI where it actually earns its keep. Everything is hosted and maintained for you — you don't manage a thing.

Do you only work in Dublin?

I'm based in Dublin and happy to meet clients there, but the builds themselves are remote-friendly. I work with businesses across Ireland and the UK — same fixed prices, UK clients pay the equivalent in pounds.

Why not just subscribe to an app that does this?

Apps are grand if you have the evenings to set them up and a subscription budget — typical messaging and booking platforms run €40–350 a month, forever. My build is €450–550 once: set up for your business, tested, documented, and there's a human on the other end when something changes.

How is this different from hiring an automation agency?

Agencies typically start at €3,500+ setup plus a €300–1,000 monthly retainer, and they're built for bigger companies. I do small, fixed-scope builds for businesses of one to ten people — one page of contract, one price, live in about a week.

One leak. One fix. Fixed price.

Book the €150 audit — it's credited toward your build. Or just message me first, that's fine too.
